Borussia Dortmund Fan Department

To represent the BVB Fan and Support Department both internally and externally, and to offer all members appropriate projects and activities, the department is structured into different bodies. Here you can learn how the fan department operates. The BVB Fan and Support Department, along with all its initiatives, are coordinated and organized by the department management. The executive department board is the highest authority and is elected by the department assembly.

Goals of the Fan and Supporter Department

In 2004, to make the purpose of club membership more tangible and appealing again, the fourth department within BV. Borussia was founded: the BVB Fan and Supporter Department. This establishment was made possible particularly through the exchange of responsibilities in the club's and KGaA's management levels, as well as the commitment of some dedicated and long-standing club members.

In addition to the intention of making club membership more tangible and attractive, the Fan Department also aims to support the club in all matters, bring in new fresh ideas, and help implement them. Moreover, the Fan Department wants to be a cornerstone of the bridge between the club, KGaA, and all members and fans. Ultimately, the club and, naturally, the entire BVB environment should benefit from the existence and work of the BVB Fan Department.

Department Assembly

The department assembly takes place twice a year. Here, members openly discuss all substantive, organizational, and personnel-related fundamental issues and make corresponding decisions. Every two years, the department assembly elects the executive department leadership and approves their discharge. Furthermore, with a three-quarters majority, it can amend the department's regulations.
