Borussia Dortmund Season Ticket

Season tickets at Borussia Dortmund are highly sought after (55,000 in the current season) and are always issued for a full season. Almost 50,000 BVB fans are on the season ticket waiting list, meaning we could allocate the available season ticket quota more than twice over. Aware of the sensitivity of this issue, we have reluctantly decided to close the season ticket waiting list indefinitely after the 2017/18 season. Those who are placed high enough on the waiting list will receive a reservation letter and subscription contract by mail in July (after the termination period for old season tickets ends). Borussia Dortmund will approve the transfer of the season ticket if there are no obstacles (e.g., payment arrears, stadium ban) and if the current and new season ticket holders are related in the first or second degree according to § 1589 para. 1 sentence 3 BGB. BVB may grant approval for other transfers at its reasonable discretion.

The transferring season ticket holder remains the contractual partner of BVB until all outstanding payments from the season ticket contract are settled at the time of transfer.

If you lose your season ticket during the season, we are happy to reissue it. The original will be blocked, and a new season ticket with a new barcode will be issued. We charge a processing fee of €25, which we fully donate to our "leuchte auf" foundation at the end of each season. Reissuing is only possible during business hours and only on-site at the BVB-FanWelt. Sending replacement season tickets by mail is not offered.

Exception: Replacement season tickets are not issued for standing sections 11 to 14. Here, an alternative section will be assigned for the current season. After the season, you will receive an offer to renew the previous standing sections 12 and 13.
