On average, there were 81,213 spectators per home game. Only the play-off match against Sporting Lisbon (80,300), which had to be organised at short notice, had a few empty seats.<\/p>\nCongested calendar: <\/b>BVB contested 14 matches in this European campaign (eight <\/span>wins, two<\/span> draws and four <\/span>defeats). Only on one occasion have they played more.
