SPORTFIVE and Borussia Dortmund

The global sports marketing agency has been assisting Borussia Dortmund with all its marketing-related endeavours since as far back as 1999. This has included activities such as acquiring sponsors, expanding partnerships and marketing the hospitality areas at the SIGNAL IDUNA PARK. Over the course of the past 25 years, SPORTFIVE has not just been involved in BVB’s success story, but also played a key role in its achievements thanks to its marketing expertise and global distribution network.

In summer 2023 – ahead of schedule – Borussia Dortmund and SPORTFIVE agreed to extend their cooperation until 2031. To continue supporting BVB with its ambitious growth trajectory over the next few years, SPORTFIVE is providing BVB with a marketing team of more than 30 national and international employees. SPORTFIVE has taken over additional marketing mandates in the field of women’s football and esports, alongside its pre-existing focus topics. In terms of international marketing, BVB is primarily concerned with expanding its partnerships in the targets market of the USA and Asia.
