Our code of conduct

Borussia Dortmund stands for intensity, authenticity, commitment and ambition. The stadium is the epicentre of this energy, while the unconditional loyalty of the fans has sustained the club for over 100 years. The club endeavours to give something back to the fans by remaining true to itself: straightforward, open, combative and firmly anchored in Dortmund's soil.

A key success factor is the club's responsible and ethical behaviour, which fans and business partners alike can rely on. Compliance with laws and internal regulations is fundamental and determines behaviour within the club and towards third parties. Illegal, unethical or irresponsible behaviour will not be tolerated. This policy serves as a guide for employees to avoid violations of the law and breaches of contractual obligations and to protect the organisation from financial losses and reputational damage.
