Do I get a refund if my child cannot attend the booked course due to the Coronavirus?
If your child cannot attend the course due to the virus, the general cancellation conditions apply. You can find these in our Terms and Conditions.
Do I get a refund if the course is canceled by the BVB Evonik Football Academy?
If we cancel the course, we will refund the paid amount after canceling the registration.
Is it possible to purchase a voucher?
Vouchers are available in our online shop in denominations of €10, €19.09, €50, and €100. You can redeem the voucher during the booking process for a course. One voucher can be used per order. You can download a printable voucher template here.
Which age groups can participate in the BVB Evonik Football Academy?
Boys and girls aged 4-13 can register for the football courses. The course size and age structure depend on the different course offerings. Except for ball games courses, all courses are designed for children aged 6-13. As children are grouped by age, age limits must be strictly adhered to.
What courses does the BVB Evonik Football Academy offer?
The BVB Evonik Football Academy offers holiday courses, match day courses, training courses, and year-round technique courses. The holiday course offerings are available in Dortmund and at external locations. You can find our complete course offerings here.
What should I consider before registering my child?
Before registering, please familiarize yourself with the Terms and Conditions of the BVB Evonik Football Academy. All information can be found here.
Is equipment included when booking the courses?
The following equipment is included in the holiday and training courses of the BVB Evonik Football Academy: A yellow or black BVB training kit from PUMA (shorts, shirt, socks). All training courses can also be booked without equipment! No equipment is provided for our ball games courses. A player flock can be booked during registration but cannot be ordered later. Football boots for the artificial turf pitch (no screw-in studs) and personal shin guards must be brought by each child. Depending on the weather, you should also consider rain gear.
Will the equipment be sent to me?
The booked equipment will not be shipped. Course participants will receive the equipment (jersey, shorts, socks) directly at the start of the course on-site.
Can I specify a group preference?
You can specify a group preference during registration. Please note that the age structure must be uniform. Children born in the same year can easily train in one group.
Can I put my child on a waiting list for the football academy courses?
If a specific course is fully booked and no longer listed, you can put your child on a waiting list. If you wish to do so, please send a message to [email protected]. Let us know how many places you want to book for which course and provide your contact details. We will notify you by email if a spot becomes available.
When will I receive the information document for the football academy course?
After booking one of the BVB Evonik Football Academy courses, you will receive a general information document with many answers to your questions. The information document about the exact course details will be sent approximately one week before the course begins to the email address you provided.
What are the cancellation conditions if I have registered my child with the BVB Evonik Football Academy?
If you cancel a booked course up to three weeks before it starts, 25% of the participation fee will be charged as a cancellation fee. If you cancel within the last three weeks or on the course start day, the cancellation fee is 35% of the participation fee. If a shirt with a name print was ordered, it will be charged. Please note that cancellations are only accepted in writing and with a valid reason, such as a medically certified illness or injury. The certificate should be submitted with the cancellation notice or within five days. Only then can we refund the amount according to our conditions. Can parents watch the football courses?
You can watch your child during the training session from our standing area. Toilets and a vending machine are also available on the BVB Evonik Football Academy grounds. Please note that bringing dogs and smoking are not allowed on the premises.
My child has diabetes, asthma, or other allergies. Can my child still participate in the football academy?
Your child can participate in all our courses. Please mention your child’s condition in the “Remarks” field during registration at www.bvb.de/fussballakademie so our coaching team is aware and can adjust the sessions if necessary. Please provide an emergency contact number to ensure constant reachability.
What should I consider when booking a match day course?
The BVB Evonik Football Academy does not offer match day courses for every home game. Participants of these courses receive two tickets for the respective game. Tickets are distributed on-site at the BVB Evonik Football Academy. Additional tickets for the chosen match day are not available through us. This course type does not include equipment.
How can my child participate in the academy’s performance-oriented training?
Enrollment in our performance-oriented courses is not possible. Participation is by recommendation from our coaching team and after a screening within our course models or at our annual Talent Day, which takes place not only in Dortmund but also at other partner locations.
