Training & Match Venues for BVB Women

Home Games of the Women

In the Westfalenliga, the BVB women fight for every point week after week. At home, the team plays at the Stadion Rote Erde and enjoys the support of the black and yellow fans there.

In the shadow of SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, the ball rolls on Sundays when the BVB women compete in their home games in the Westfalenliga. From 2 PM, the gates of the Stadion Rote Erde open for spectators, who can look forward to a great supporting program.

Around the football match, there are games and fun activities for the youngest fans. A major highlight is the prediction game, where all spectators on site have the chance to win a signed jersey of the BVB women and a BVB fan shop voucher. To participate, you just need to correctly guess the minute in which the first goal of the game will be scored.

Of course, there are also food and drink stands on the stadium grounds, ensuring that everyone is well catered for.

Admission to the BVB women's home games is free!

Parking spaces are available in the "Luftbad" parking lot (access under the FanWelt) and along Strobelallee. Bicycles can also be parked along Strobelallee.

Be there! The BVB women look forward to your support on site!

For those who cannot support from the stands during home games, there is the option to follow the game digitally and in real-time from anywhere via our Twitch livestream. Here is the link to the livestream!

The Stadium "Rote Erde"

The Stadion Rote Erde, whose name derives from "cleared earth," was completed in 1926 and served as Borussia Dortmund's home ground from 1937 until the inauguration of the Westfalenstadion (now SIGNAL IDUNA PARK) in 1974. In the Rote Erde, BVB celebrated great successes in the 1950s and 1960s, including three German championships.

The very first match in the history of the black and yellow women's football team also took place at the Stadion Rote Erde: Just like the first football match in the Rote Erde, when a Dortmund city selection faced Wacker Munich in 1926, another Munich team, TSV 1860 Munich, was the guest in August 2021. The Borussia women defeated the guests 3-1, laying the foundation for another black and yellow era at the Stadion Rote Erde. In addition to the women's football team, BVB's U23 team also plays its home games at the historic venue.

Training at the Football Academy

Playing football on historic ground: This is where the championship teams of 1995, 1996, and 2002, as well as the 1997 Champions League winners, prepared for their games. With the former training grounds of the black and yellow professionals, now home to the BVB Evonik Football Academy, Borussia Dortmund's female footballers have an excellent training and match venue with an artificial turf pitch and small field.

The area on Strobelallee, located right next to SIGNAL IDUNA PARK, is adapted to meet the needs of BVB's female footballers and coaches. Additionally, new and innovative training materials offer optimal conditions to improve football skills.

Fans and companions can support the players from the sidelines during training and matches. Toilets and vending machines are also available on the premises of the BVB Evonik Football Academy.

Parking spaces (except on professional match days) are available directly at the Football Academy, in the "Luftbad" parking lot (access under the FanWelt), and along Strobelallee.
