Fan and Supporter Department – Department Leads

In addition to the executive department management, the heads of the various working groups are key figures within the fan department. The working group leaders are also official representatives of the BVB Fan and Promotion Department, particularly representing it in their assigned areas externally.

The department management represents the interests of the department both internally and externally, adhering to the statutes of the overall club and the department's regulations.

Every two years, the members of the department elect a five-member department board at the department meeting. This board consists of the positions of Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Head of Organization and Administration, Treasurer, and Fan Coordinator, forming the executive department management. The executive department management is politically responsible for the BVB Fan and Promotion Department.

Besides the executive department management, the heads of the various working groups are part of the department management. These working group leaders are official representatives of the BVB Fan and Promotion Department, particularly representing it in their assigned areas externally. Unlike the department board, they are not elected by the department meeting but appointed by the executive department management. Their appointment and dismissal follow the rules and criteria set out in the department management's bylaws.
