Fan and Supporter Department – Fan Culture

For the BVB Fan and Supporters Department, fan culture is a crucial pillar of our work. In times of fan codes and discussions about standing areas, the work of the Fan Culture Working Group is of the utmost importance.

The BVB Fan and Supporters Department collaborates with both the Interest Group "Unsere Kurve" (Our Curve) and "FSE - Football Supporters Europe." While "Unsere Kurve" is primarily organized on a national level, FSE operates more at the European level. Thus, the BVB Fan and Supporters Department is represented and active in fan-political matters across Europe.

Fan politics sometimes involve lengthy and dry discussions within various committees and steering decision-making processes. The results may not always be in line with the fans' wishes, but we always strive to find an ideal solution for everyone.

It is particularly important to establish good networks within various organizations and committees, where many decisions and experiences can be exchanged. This occurs, for example, at FSE congresses and "Unsere Kurve" federal meetings. Exchange with other clubs and countries is invaluable and actively pursued by us.

The team within the department is constantly active on many levels to continuously improve the situation for fans in Germany.

Our goal is to be active on as many levels as possible to sustainably and continuously improve the situation for fans in Germany.

To breathe new life into the work of the Fan Culture Working Group with fresh ideas, we are always looking for interested allies. Besides some free time, what you need to bring along is primarily a fundamental interest in fan-political issues and the intense substantive engagement with them.
