Interview
Nuri Sahin "saw a lot of good"
Nuri Sahin on the friendly:
"I saw a lot of good today. I said before the game that I wanted to see that we had been working for seven days and the lads did really well. You could already see several principles. I knew that not everything would be perfect yet, but I'm in a thoroughly positive mood. I enjoyed it."
…seven intense days of training:
"You can see that from the lads, and I've also experienced it myself. You notice these games physically. We're travelling by bus, plane and then another hour by bus. It's not as easy as it looks. But the boys did really well. We had one or two moments of pressing where they had to overcome their weaker selves."
…the youth players:
"The boys have been doing very well since day one. The door is open, they have to go through it. That's down to them. I'm very happy with how they're playing their part. They soak everything up and are eager to learn."
…the Asia Tour:
"It's our duty to represent Borussia Dortmund overseas as well. It's important and we're happy to do it. Everything is very well planned. The jetlag is factored it, the days after the journey, so that the lads can recover. A journey like that makes its mark, but it's important that we showcase ourselves there too. We have two good matches, good training pitches, good hotels."
