Public training session for the BVB players – Guirassy involved

The Borussia Dortmund first team commenced their preparations for the game away to Werder Bremen in front of more than 550 spectators at a public training session. Serhou Guirassy took part in team training for the first time.

After the 2-0 opening game victory against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, BVB coach Nuri Sahin gave his players two days off. The first-team players returned to the Hohenbuschei training ground on Tuesday and kicked off their training week with a public training session at the Jugendstadion. New signing Serhou Guirassy joined his team-mates on the pitch for the first time and completed parts of the training session. Gregor Kobel, Julian Ryerson and Nico Schlotterbeck missed out due to their individual workload programmes. Youssoufa Moukoko also did not take part in team training. Borussia Dortmund have released the striker for talks with another club.
