Kehl: "It's going to be a very emotional, very heated game"
Sebastian Kehl on the starting position…
"First of all, we have established a very good starting position with nine points from four matches and seventh place in the table. We're now precisely in the positions that we wanted to be in beforehand. It will be a very emotional, very heated game tomorrow – a difficult task. Zagreb have stabilised somewhat in the Champions League, but we do of course believe that we have a chance tomorrow. We can take a real step towards the round of 16 with a victory. Our objective will be to finish in the top eight. And with that in mind, it would be very, very helpful to not only play a good game but also to return to Dortmund with a good result in the bag."
…the last results on the road:
"We've spoken about it a lot and have had to hear about it to some extent at both meetings over the course of the last days. Our away record this season is not good. We're not living up to our aspirations at the moment, but we're of course heading to Zagreb with the goal of getting something. We want to carry the support of our fans with us tomorrow. Even though it will certainly be very heated, we believe that we are well prepared and that a win will set us up well for the match against Bayern Munich."
…the performances of Felix Nmecha:
"Felix had a difficult first year because he was injured for six months. But now he is in a really good condition and it is not without reason that he has been invited to the national team. He managed to score a goal there and has taken the next step with us too. And I simply hope that he stays fit, because then he is a very important player for us who can undergo an extremely good development and still has a huge amount of potential. I'm happy that can now also be seen."
…Serhou Guirassy's condition:
"We're happy that he's now reasonably healthy again and can be involved in Zagreb. It remains to be seen whether he is ready to play from the beginning tomorrow. But Serhou is a very, very important player for us, especially in such matches. Away from home too, with his physicality, with his strong leadership, with his presence. He's simply someone that you don't want to do without. That's why we would naturally like for him to be involved tomorrow. But it won't be the last game that we contest this season."
