Adeyemi, Duranville & Reyna sidelined

Borussia Dortmund will be without Karim Adeyemi, Julien Duranville and Giovanni Reyna in the coming weeks. "We're expecting Juju and Karim to be available again after the international break in November. Gio has unfortunately had a setback, things look similar for him," said BVB coach Nuri Sahin at the press conference prior to the away match against Union Berlin.

Adeyemi played a major role in the 7-1 victory over Celtic on Tuesday evening, scoring three goals and notching one assist in the first half of the emphatic win over the Scots. Shortly after the interval, he had to be substituted off with an injury.

Julien Duranville, who replaced Adeyemi against Celtic, "felt something in his thigh" according to Sahin. "He noticed something in a sprint. Unfortunately he is now out. That's bitter because he was on a very good path. But that's unfortunately part and parcel of it, we will wait for him."

Giovanni Reyna returned from duty with the USA national team in September with an injury and now has an additional setback to overcome.

Donyell Malen had to miss the Celtic game due to illness. He is due to return to team training this Friday.

Filippo Mane is in recovery training and has already taken part in some of the team training sessions. "We're assuming that he'll be back with us during the international break," explained Sahin.
