The first team left Dortmund Airport for Barcelona, where the first of their two clashes with the Catalans will take place at the Olympic Stadium at 21:00 CEST tomorrow.

These players are in the travelling group:

Kjell Wätjen
Niklas Süle

Ramy Bensebaini

On Monday, BVB received the bitter news that centre-back Nico Schlotterbeck had suffered a meniscus tear in his left knee and would therefore be out for the rest of the season. Marcel Sabitzer, who also has a knee injury, will miss the clash with the 'Blaugrana' too, as will fellow midfielder Pascal Groß, who is suspended for the first leg of the quarter-final.

The first indications as to how Niko Kovac could compensate for the absence of the three players against FC Barcelona may already come when our coach holds his press conference in Spain on Tuesday evening. Niko Kovac will be joined on the podium by defender Waldemar Anton. BVB TV will broadcast the press conference live from 19:00 CEST.
