Travel info for the home game against Mainz

Borussia Dortmund will face 1. FSV Mainz 05 at SIGNAL IDUNA PARK on Sunday (kick-off 17:30 CET). Special trains and additional stops will supplement the scheduled services.

Arrival:

  • The special TRI train will run from Hamm main station (departure 15:29) to Signal Iduna Park station (arrival 16:02).
  • The RE 57 from Sauerland will make unscheduled stops at Signal Iduna Park station at 15:15, 16:15 and 17:15 and at Dortmund main station two minutes later each time.
  • The RB 57 from Dortmund in the direction of Sauerland will make unscheduled departures from Dortmund main station at 15:41 and 16:41 and will stop at Signal Iduna Park station five minutes later.

Departure:  

  • The special TRI train will depart Signal Iduna Park station at 20:00 for Hamm (arrival at 20:38).
  • After the game, the RE 57 from Sauerland will leave from Signal Iduna Park station at 20:15 and from Dortmund main station at 20:17.
  • After the game, the RE 57 from Dortmund in the direction of Sauerland will leave from Signal Iduna Park at 19:41 and 20:41 and from Dortmund main station five minutes later each time.
  • Due to a construction site, there will be no special train to Lünen (RB 51) on Sunday.

Up until 25 April 2025, there will be comprehensive construction works on the track between Dortmund and Essen, which may lead to disruptions to rail travel. Further information can be found here.

Combi-tickets and passenger information

BVB tickets are valid on the day of the match as a combi-ticket for a return journey. The ticket can be used on all surcharge-free local trains (second class carriage) as well as all buses and trains operated by local transport companies throughout NRW. The DSW21 ticket can be ordered free of charge at https://kombiticket.dsw21.de/.

By car

For all fans travelling by car, DOPARK sells parking tickets for home games in advance. Tickets are sold exclusively via the DOPARK Ticket Shop. Ticket holders have the advantage that the booked parking space remains reserved until the start of the match, so that the sometimes lengthy search for a free parking space is no longer necessary. It also makes travelling to the stadium easier, as there is no need to pay at the car park entrance.
