Referee: Stieler in charge
Hamburg native Tobias Stieler will oversee the match. He will be supported by Marcel Unger and Mark Borsch. Florian Heft will be the fourth official. Tobias Welz will serve as the video assistant. The 43-year-old sports psychologist will be taking charge of his 184th game in the Bundesliga. It will be Tobias Stieler's 28th time refereeing a game involving BVB. The record to date: 16 wins, four draws and seven defeats. He made his BVB bow on 10 May 2024 in the Black & Yellows' 4-0 away victory against Hertha BSC; he last took charge of the away game in Mainz on Matchday 33 last season (3-0 loss).

Shirts: BVB in yellow and black
Borussia Dortmund will line up as per usual in their yellow shirts with black shorts and yellow socks. Leipzig will play in almost entirely white strips.

The ticket holder does not have to give up their individual ticket or season ticket, as the tickets are electronically blocked and can then be re-released.
